Location: Aldridge, WS9 8TZ

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday 

Salary: Between £42,000 and £45,000 pa DOE

 

Are you a hands-on leader ready to drive service excellence? We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer Supervisor to inspire and develop a growing team, champion Health & Safety, and deliver outstanding customer service across the Midlands.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Service Engineers, supporting their welfare, training, and performance.
  • Act as Health & Safety Champion for both Field Service and Workshop teams, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Support the office-based control team with call handling and planning, helping to exceed customer expectations and meet key KPIs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, managing high-profile cases and driving improvements in service quality.
  • Collaborate with managers on operational tasks and recruitment, and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Oversee quality and environmental procedures, ensuring records and compliance are maintained.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong leadership, team building, and employee engagement skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in people management and performance appraisals.
  • Understanding of UK Commercial Aftermarket business (essential); experience in truck, coach, off-highway, or automotive sectors (desirable).
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent); IOSH Managing Safety and motor trade qualifications are a plus.
  • Structured decision-making, attention to detail, and robust approach to Health & Safety.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and excellent communicator.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.
