On 2 November 2021 Veth Automotive acquired Terberg Specials Belgium N.V. and Terberg Specials B.V. This acquisition enables Veth Automotive to expand its activities in the field of the conversion and fitting out of cars and vans in the Netherlands and Belgium. The businesses are located in Utrecht (the Netherlands) and Genk (Belgium) and will now do business under the name Veth Automotive.

Steven Heersma, CEO, Veth Automotive Group: “We are very pleased to have agreed the acquisition of these experienced and respected businesses with the Royal Terberg Group. The resulting group of Veth Automotive businesses is a perfect match for our long-term corporate strategy.  The acquisition of the service organisation in the Netherlands will enable us to respond more effectively to our customers' needs for on-site service. The acquisition of the Belgian business has made us a leading and established player on the Belgian van conversion market. This will help us develop the envisaged growth in revenue, especially internationally.”

Godfried Terberg, Chairman of the Board of Management, Royal Terberg Group: “The sale of our Car and Van Modification division fits in with our strategy. We want to focus on the activities where we currently have a strong position on the market, or where we can develop such a position. Veth Automotive is a respected company and we are certain this acquisition will benefit both the employees and customers of the two businesses.”
