Role: Quality Engineer

Location: Blackpool, FY4 4NW

Hours: 37hpw, 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday

We are looking for a Quality Engineer at our Manufacturing plant in Blackpool. This is an exciting and challenging Supplier Quality role.

The role:

  • You will assess and control the quality of supplier output to ensure minimal disruption to core production.

You will be:

  • Used to working in a truck or vehicle assembly/fabrication environment that conforms to ISO9001 & ISO14001
  • Experienced using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers etc.)
  • Experienced with reading and understanding Engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of FMEA, quality plans, control plans and feasibility
  • Proficient in the use of tools such as 8d, 5 whys, to successfully manage non-conforming product
  • Qualified in a relatable subject at Level 6 or equivalent
