The performance of the new generation electric drive system for terminal tractors is comparable with that of diesel. Customers can choose from a number of battery capacity combinations so they can select the option best suited to their operations. Additionally, the new battery technology has an extended temperature range and can be used worldwide in both very cold and warm climates.
The eCollect is a fully electric integrated refuse collection solution with custom-designed battery packs. It will initially be available to the market in a 26-tonne 6x2 rear steer narrow (2.25m wide) configuration with left or right-hand drive options, a 19m3 narrow body and automatic split bin lift.
