HGV Technician, Witham

Role: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Location: Witham, CM8 3TH

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:00 Monday to Friday

We are looking for a HGV Technician at our Witham site. This is a crucial and challenging Aftermarket role.

The role:

  • Service and repair of HGV and RCV vehicles within the Witham Service Centre
  • Carry remedial work as directed by the commercial service manger and or the Witham workshop supervisor
  • To prepare vehicles to DVSA standard
  • To ensure all remedial work is carried out top customers satisfaction and in the most effective way
  • Promote good housekeeping within working environment

Your experience:

  • Experience of body and Chassis Repairs
  • Time served experience in maintenance and repair of HGV vehicles or similar in a workshop environment or as an onsite engineer
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Time served vehicle technician
  • City & Guilds Year 3 trained or equivalent
  • Basic IT skills
  • Basic administration skills
