HGV Technician, Ivybridge

Dennis Eagle has been in business since 1907 and is Britain’s market leader in the manufacture of refuse collection vehicles. Our famous ‘DENNIS’ name is seen on the front of our cabs daily across UK streets.

Role: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Location: Ivybridge, PL21 9PE

Hours: 45 hours per week | between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday

We are looking for a HGV Technician at our Ivybridge site. This is a crucial and challenging Aftermarket role.

The role:

  • You'll prepare vehicles to DVSA standard, ensuring all work is of a high quality.
  • You will also help to establish and improve relations between Dennis Eagle and the customer

You will have:

  • Time served experience in maintenance and repair of RCVs or similar equipment in a workshop environment or as an onsite engineer
  • Experience of both Body and chassis maintenance and repair
  • An understanding of Hydraulics, Electronics & Electrical Systems
  • Completed job related product training / Year 3 C&G training or equivalent
  • A Maths and English Qualification
