Role: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Warwick

Hours: 37hpw, 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer at our Head Office in Warwick. This is an exciting and challenging Engineering role.

The role:

  • You will create concept design and detailing of electrical systems and components

You will have:

  • A minimum 3 to 5 years’ Engineering in a relevant industry
  • Knowldge of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS)
  • Truck, Yellow Goods, or related product experience, chassis systems with similar product volumes and level of complexity
  • Good detailed knowledge of a wide range of electrical engineering
  • Knowledge and understanding of Schematic and Harness design
  • Knowledge of ISO standards for EDS design

You will also need:

  • Minimum qualification Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or the ability to demonstrate the same level of competence through a combination of other relevant qualifications, training and experience.
  • Well-developed problem solving techniques, 8D, A3
  • Knowledge of VeSys, Zuken E3, Six Sigma and ISO26262 system design would be advantageous though not essential
