HGV Technician, Bridgend

Dennis Eagle has been in business since 1907 and is Britain’s market leader in the manufacture of refuse collection vehicles. Our famous ‘DENNIS’ name is seen on the front of our cabs daily across UK streets.

Role: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Location: Bridgend, CF32 9TD

Hours: 45 hours per week | between 06:00 and 19:30 on a rota Monday to Friday (some weekend working where required)

We are looking for a HGV Technician at our Bridgend site. This is a crucial and challenging Aftermarket role.

The role:

  • To carry out remedial work as directed by regional service centre operations and or workshop foreperson
  • To prepare vehicles to DVSA standard
  • To ensure all remedial work is achieved to customers satisfaction in the most effective way
  • To establish and improve relations between Dennis Eagle and the customer

Your experience:

  • Time served experience in maintenance and repair of RCVs or similar equipment in a workshop environment or as an onsite engineer
  • Experience of both Body and chassis maintenance and repair
  • Current HGV Licence
  • Completed job related product training
  • Year 3 C&G training or equivalent
  • Maths and English Qualification
